Decoding the Cry of the Baby: The "Burp-Me" Cry

The Burp-Me Cry

This one can be confused easily with the That-Hurt cry because of its shrilling nature.

You can, however, decipher between the two because typically, the Burp-Me cry happens relatively soon after a feeding.   That being said, some stubborn bubbles lurk in the depths of her body and rise with a vengeance hours later...that can be a little confusing for me, a little frustrating for others (why won't that baby stop crying!?!), and very uncomfortable for Abigail.

Luckily, once the gas bubble has left her body, all is right with the world again and Abigail's back to her smiling ways.
